A Little About Me

This is a site that’s a glimpse into who I am and who I want to be professionally. It’s an online portfolio for hirers to see what I can do, and what I want to accomplish. Since I was little I’ve loved video games, the stories told with cool and interesting characters and fun that’s come from controlling them was always an amazing experience. I want to join that world and I want to learn and grow in that environment. Right before high school, in Grade 8, I decided to do all that I could to get to industry that was just as, if not more, magical than any movie I watched. I started off with taking things like:

• Introduction to Technology
• Computer Science
• Communications Technology
• Electrical engineering

in high school. With that I learned a new ways to think, problem solving and troubleshooting, as well as how to be creative through digital media like Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash. I’d create and then write games on paper (which I actually still have) as I progressed through school, and that “designing” was tons of fun. I’ve continued on that path with post secondary education where I’m currently completing a double certification in:

• Video Game Design and Development (programming)
• and Video Game Design and Animation

I will continue to carry on so I can become one of the story tellers I so admired in the past.
